Swampbase, Holiday party, etc.

Posted on Dec 21 2025 - 5:55pm

Happy Holidays and I hope you are enjoying winterish break! For those who attended winterish camp, most of your earnings have been updated with a few exceptions that Mr. Egan is working on to manually update - an advancement report has been sent to all scouts so you can work on those partials during the holidays. Swampbase RSVP CLOSES on January 16 with all payments due - remember this is one of only 4 high adventure Scouting America bases - it is a big deal and there are no late registrations. I will be giving up any unregistered spots! Our holiday court of honor and celebration will be on January 10 - details will be available after the new year - plan for a mid day event. Also two merit badge colleges have been added to the calendar for your awareness.

Survey! RSVPs! Etc!

Stay warm scouts and adults and a big part of that is using your fingers to fill out the survey for the holiday Court of Honor - https://forms.gle/GrDZubCMNYvyqxYn6 There are dates to choose from all during the holiday break even after Christmas. Choose wisely! Wherever we go those new shirts in the correct sizes will be available to pick up and also we have quite a variety of recycled items to swap (remember those go for cheap cheap as donations are appreciated for the troop!).

We need one last push to sell the remaining Trees and Holiday Greenery

This is our ONLY FUNDRAISER!

Hands-on Deck!  All Troop Scouts  are expected to participate in the Annual Pack/Troop Holiday Tree Sale Fundraiser.  We need Scouts to sell threes and help deliver them.  We will be dividing the day into 3 shifts.  Troop Scouts, Cubs and Adults will be helping with loading trees/rope/wreaths onto vehicles and tying them down.  Time to start practicing those knots!
