We have updated the information about summer camp to include the fees as well as the current leader died additional updates will be made in the next few weeks.  Please register as soon as possible and also if you pay our start to pay prior to April 15 it is a discounted rate from the camp.  We have reduced the fee slightly from last year for scouts paying the early to $375.  This covers the camp registration fee as well as 2 T-shirts per scout (maybe 3), other incidentals and unforeseen scout costs (Walmart runs) as well as offsetting some of the cost for the adults.

Tuesday will be the first meeting for new scouts postponed due to water issues. This will be a point where we can see how much our troop has grown and it is greatly appreciated if health forms and transfer applications or new applications can all be submitted. We ask that all scouts attend and be ready for fast moving and possibly chaotic meeting.

Welcome back from Mardi Gras! I hope everyone enjoyed their break and caught lots of good stuff! We have a LOT of things happening quickly! This Sunday from 9-10 AM at the Starbucks at Jefferson and Freret I will be having Scoutmaster conferences for those who sign up in advance. Uniforms are not required and most likely I will be outside. Please remember to purchase something in return for us using their space. Tuesday at 5:30 PM will be our first meeting for new scouts coming in from AOLs. Look sharp and be ready to welcome them! We also have a camping trip scheduled at Camp Tiak NEXT weekend. Numbers are low and if we do not have more scouts enroll, we will wait on this trip and enjoy our trips that are scheduled later in the calendar - and there are a LOT of activities upcoming!
